While there may not be many differences in performance between the WRT54GX and WRT54GX2 routers, the WRT54GX4 router is a true powerhouse. This router can give you a speed which is up to 10 times faster than basic Wireless-G routers. At the same time, it is still compatible with Wireless-B products and will also work with other SRX devices. While the speed of the router is much faster than many other routers, it has a range which matches that of the WRT54GX.
