128MB SDRAM DIMM for Cisco Network Processing Engines.

The memory architecture of NPE-175 & NPE-225 supports SDRAM DIMM's. Up to 128MB can be installed while 64MB is the default option. On NPE-300 the maximum memory capacity is 256MB.

The Network Processing Engines perform and maintain system management operations on Cisco 7200 series of routers. This includes dealing with routing protocol updates and storing of tables and many other network accounting applications.
